О сериале

«Друзья» (Friends) – американский ситком, состоящий из 226 эпизодов по 22 минуты каждый и находившейся в эфире с 1994 по 2004 гг. Рассказывает о жизни шести друзей, живущих в Манхэттене, Нью-Йорк. Сериал был создан Дэвидом Крейном и Мартой Кауффман. Заключительный эпизод сериала посмотрело около 51,1 млн. зрителей.

Моника (Кортни Кокс), молодой повар в возрасте около 25 лет, живёт в квартире в Манхэттене. Она находит новую соседку по комнате в лице Рейчел (Дженнифер Энистон), её старую лучшую подругу из средней школы, с которой она потеряла связь много лет назад. Как настоящий избалованный ребёнок, Рейчел никогда не работала и восстанавливает связь с Моникой только потому, что она осталась почти без средств к существованию, после того как бросила своего жениха у алтаря.

Тем не менее, между двумя девушками будет создана (снова) искренняя дружба, и Рейчел без проблем вольётся в компанию друзей Моники, состоящую из Фиби (бывшая соседка Моники), Росса (брат Моники, тайно влюблён в Рейчел), Джоуи и Чендлера (последние делят апартаменты, расположенные напротив квартиры Моники и Рейчел). Все эти молодые люди не состоят в браке за исключением Росса, который уже был женат, но недавно развёлся.

Во всех 10 сезонах «Друзей» зрителю показывают повседневную жизнь этих шести героев, а также развитие их отношений и их профессиональной и личной жизни. Всё это в сочетании с радостями и разочарованиями.
