Known for her role as ‘Shelly’, a press reporter on Designated Survivor, Vanessa Burns is a Canadian actress who was born in Brampton, Ontario. After attending a high school for the performing arts where she majored in Drama, Vanessa went on to graduate from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto. In 2016 Vanessa wrote and co-produced the short film Acting Up (TISFF Best Comedy winner).
