Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Sam Adegoke is a Nigerian-American actor who currently lives in Los Angeles. His big break came when he was chosen from thousands of submissions as the 2015 winner of the ABC Discovers National Talent Competition, which landed him a 1-year holding deal with ABC. Shortly after he appeared in his first major TV role on ABC’s crime thriller Wicked City. Sam would quickly go on to amass a host of credits including Brooklyn Nine Nine, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Code Black, and NCIS LA. He began turning heads with his performances on the final seasons of Murder in the First and Switched at Birth. Most recently he starred in Lifetime’s Michael Jackson Biopic “Searching for Neverland” which was released in May of 2017. Sam Adegoke can be seen starring in CW’s Dynasty reboot that aired this past Fall. Outside of acting, Sam caters to a myriad of artistic interests including clothing design, music, painting and drawing. He’s also an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
