Michel Issa Rubio Is a professional Actor/Dancer/Model who was born and raised in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Vancouver at age of 10 where he Studied and trained at The Actor’s Foundry under Matthew Harrison, The Arts Umbrella Professional Dance Company for 6 yrs under Artemis Gordon, The Hollywood Summer Tour in L.A under Menina Fortunato, And Became a member of Hybrid Movement one of Canadas most unique all around Freestyle Crews. Since graduating from the programs Michel has worked with numerous Artists including: Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers, PSY, Victoria Justice, Keke Palmer, Carly Rose and many other high profile celebrities in various feature Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Commercials, Award Shows, Concerts and Companies. Michel was handpicked for Movies like Camp Rock 2, Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief, Pompeii, Bang Bang Baby, Nickelodeons original Movies Spectacular and Rags, and Short Film Rules Of The Game. TV Shows like FX Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain, Fox 11/22/63, Muchs Degrassi: Next Class, ABCs Rise, CBCs Over The Rainbow, Family Channel The Next Step, YTVs Prank Patrol and Global’s Bomb Girls. Live performances such as The 2013 Much Music Video Awards, The 2010 Winter Olympics Samsung Spectacular, The 2013 Shaw Media Launch, The 2012 Countessa Awards, and got into the Cirque Du Soleil show “Love” roster. Lastly Stage, Theatre and Company shows such as Broadways original show “Rave On”, Bridge To Artist “Senses” and “On The Sawdust Trail”, and Arts Umbrellas professional “Seasons Finales” from 2004 to 2009 to name a few. Also Michel has Choreographed for Musical Rap group “Swollen Members” who are Juno and Much Music Video Award winners and has taught various classes and workshops in different Studios and Companies throughout Canada, and still going. His style is a fusion of, Hip Hop, Popping, Breakin, Locking, Contemporary, Partnering and Salsa with a variety of tricks and flips thrown in. Michel is very creative and passionate about his work, and hopes to inspire anyone watching to pursue their dreams without any regrets and to go full out.
