Maya is a Birmingham born actress and writer. She is best known for her roles as PC Maneet Bindra in award winning BBC drama ‘Line of Duty’ and Shazia Khan in BBC 1 sitcom ‘Citizen Khan’ Series 1-3. Maya’s screenwriting credits include ‘Mount Pleasant’ and ‘The Kumars’ for Sky One and ‘Eastenders’ and ‘The Break’ for the BBC.
