Luisina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to artist parents. Her father is a professional cellist and her mother a professional painter and make-up artist. At age 3, her family moved Italy where her father had secured a position in the orchestra at the famed Arena di Verona. Soon after, Luisina started performing in the operas as part of the children’s ensemble, acting, singing and dancing in various operas such as Aida, Turandot, and Camen, directed by Franco Zeffirelli. When she was 8, her parents started working on the Argentinean show “Forever Tango” and they toured for 2 years around Europe, Canada and the United States. In 1997, they settled permanently in New York. Luisina joined SAG and started doing commercials and voice-overs. She also recorded various songs on Tony Bennett’s CD “The Playground” and performed alongside him on The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The US Open, and VH1 Save The Music with The Backstreet Boys. After high school accepted into Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. She continued her acting training at Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and later at The William Esper Studio under the tutelage of Suzanne Esper. In 2011, she filmed a scene opposite Bradley Cooper in the movie “Limitless”, also starring Robert De Niro and directed by Neil Burger (Relativity Media). In 2011, she moved back to Buenos Aires to play a role in Benjamin Kunkel’s play “Buzz” that had its world premiere at La Tertulia theater. The play ran for 6 months, and Luisina fell in love with Buenos Aires, a city she barely remembered. She decided to stay and soon after started working at The Stage Company, starring in various English-speaking productions including “Marco Polo”, “The Three Musketeers”, “Billy the Kid”, and “Midsummer Night’s Dream”. She also co-starred in the film “Stolen Tango”, an Argentinean-American co-production about an army veteran who moves to Buenos Aires to start over and ends up fighting against human trafficking. The movie premiered in Sydney, Australia at the NSW Parliament House as part of a fund raising event where the proceeds went to Anti-Slavery Australia and the Maria de Los Angeles Foundation in Argentina. While in Buenos Aires, Luisina continues to voice various English-speaking voice-overs and star in national commercial campaigns in the United States (Lysol, Outback Steakhouse, Western Union, Shoe Carnival, among others.) She is currently in the cast of “Shrek The Musical” which premiered at the Teatro Maipo in Buenos Aires. The show went on to win multiple awards, including Best Musical and Best Production. Most recently, she was part of the film “Te Esperaré” directed by Alberto Lecchi (Epitafios, HBO) starring Dario Grandinetti and Inez Estevez, which is currently in post-production (2016). She speaks English, Spanish, and Italian fluently and is part of SAG-AFTRA.
