Kate Liquorish is a South African actress of British descent. She studied acting at the University of Cape Town and has performed to critical acclaim throughout South Africa garnering numerous theatre award nominations including best actress and best supporting actress at the prestigious Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards. Her screen-work includes starring opposite Laurence Fishburne, Orlando Jones and David Harewood in BET’s series Madiba in which she played the iconic political activist Ruth First. She also played opposite Helen Mirren in Gavin Hood’s Eye in the Sky and alongside Pearl Thusi and Akin Omotoso in Kagiso Lediga’s Catching Feelings. She is based in South Africa, but travels extensively to perform.
