Biography

Jodie Whittaker is an English actress. She is best known for Venus (2006), St Trinian’s (2007), Good (2008), and Attack the Block (2011). She has also starred in the television series Wired (2008), and Black Mirror. Her film debut was Venus starring Peter O’Toole. On 16 July 2017, Whittaker was announced as the thirteenth incarnation of The Doctor in the science fiction television series Doctor Who.
