Jenna Upton is a South African actress born in Cape Town. She started a successful modeling career in 2003 before making the decision to embark on an acting career in 2013. She trained at two of Cape Town’s drama schools, The Screenact Studio and Act Cape Town before making her screen debut in 2015. In 2016 she appeared in the miniseries drama Cape Town (2015), starring Trond Espen Seim, Boris Kodjoe and Arnold Vosloo. She followed this in 2017 with a role in the action film 24 Hours to Live (2017) starring Ethan Hawke. She also played an unlucky Graboid victim scientist in the 2018 Syfy Channel sequel Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018). Jenna also appeared on the crime series Ice (2016), starring Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto and Ray Winstone. Ms. Upton has also appeared in episodes for the 2019 series thriller The Widow (2019).
