Born Alfredo Moyano-Barroso, actor and voiceover artist, Freddy Moyano (Madrid, 1979), is a Wisconsin resident since 2002, and a father of four beautiful children. Born and raised in the central part of Spain, and now a proud US citizen, Freddy completed his college degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Communication. He quickly developed a passion for writing/translating, as well as for sound and radio, and he worked at Radio Complutense and Radio Miraflores during the 5 years prior to his arrival to the US. He met his wife, Jenny, in Germany while backpacking around Europe in 1999. Freddy spent one year in Brussels, Belgium thanks to an Erasmus college internship. This, along with family presence in St. Ouen, France and Lausanne, Switzerland -coupled with his love for languages-makes him a fluent French speaker, in addition to English and Spanish. Freddy’s TV presence began in Los Angeles, in September of 2016, when he co-hosted the motivational show ‘Sergio Bruna Imparable!’ at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Bruna’s infectious energy and passion as a mentor and reputable motivator, writer and TV host is what pushed Freddy to begin acting and producing. This led to a turning point wherein Freddy became tired of having worked for various insurance companies with no advancement opportunities over the course of 14 years. Therefore, in October of 2016, he decided to create Moyano Lingua Consulting and Productions, LLC, a company under which he still performs, develops and produces content in both English and Spanish. Today, Freddy is known for his appearances on: The Chi (Season One of these intense Chicago suburbs series, with 3 episodes in the core role of police officer), Widows (funeral scene with Colin Farrell, Anna Paquin and Viola Davis), Electric Dreams (Townhall Scene with Vera Farmiga), Netflix’s Easy (Season 2, one episode, sharing the scene with Judy Greer and Tim Kazurinsky). Freddy is also a gifted linguist (translator of bestselling novels like A Dyeing Shame, by E.S. Craig) and a voiceover artist, with over 15 audio publications distributed on Audible, Amazon and iTunes.
