Vermont Born and raised. Has been a movie buff since he was a young child. “Bernie” got into writing stories when he was in high school, and in his English class he always had these great stories that made the whole class always ask for more. His teacher suggested he become a writer but he came from a family of drywall finishers and so right after graduation he had a knife and trowel in his hand. Before joining the US Army in 2003 he contemplated film school and was making short cheap movies on a handy camcorder. After finishing the term in the service he got into film school for a period and was carrying a 3.75 GPA, and was making films for school. After the birth of his son he opted to stop going to school and be a dad. But he didn’t put the camera down, he was also doing local shoots for the local public access channel, and even shooting Mixed martial art events for a local promoter. In 2009 he went to a horror convention in Dallas TX and met some real famous people and even started interviewing for a local show he was starting back home. In 2011 he divorced and was forced to stop going to film school, where he ended up meeting some agents at another show in Rhode island who got him into being a celebrity handler. Doing multiple shows and working with many celebrities he met some real nice people along the way. Bernie hasn’t stopped writing in the meantime he has worked on the concept for a documentary film, and other awesome scripts. In 2017 he was cast in Ben Stiller’s Escape at Danemora in Plattsburgh NY. Also in 2017 he worked on a local film with long time friend on his new film “Where is She?” Bernie still lives in the Green mountains and tries to get behind or in front the camera as much as he can.
