Akili McDowell is an American actor born, Akili Johnre Anyika McDowell on December 30, 2002 in San Francisco, CA. He began acting at the age of 9 years old, starring in both local and national commercials before landing his first major network credit as Zavier Gibbs in ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club. Akili currently resides in Houston, TX with his family. In his free time, he enjoys football, track, baseball and basketball.
